Aaron Neilsen
Chief Financial Officer
Aaron Neilsen joined the Online Trading Academy executive team in late 2009. Mr. Neilsen brings over 15 years of finance and
senior executive experience, most recently as the Chief Financial Officer of Gatekeeper Systems, Inc., a California based company
which delivers loss prevention solutions worldwide. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Neilsen supported Gatekeeper’s institution and private
investors as the company was publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market. More recently, Mr. Neilsen
oversaw Gatekeeper Systems’ North American fulfillment and customer care operations. Mr. Neilsen helped develop the company in
becoming the leader in loss retention systems serving 18 of the top 20 global retailers, growing revenues from $11 million to over
$34 million.
Prior to Gatekeeper Systems, Mr. Neilsen managed accounting teams and served in senior finance positions at Bitfone Corporation,
go2 Systems, Inc., and Westcorp Inc.
Mr. Neilsen earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Cal State University, Long Beach,
graduating with Magna Cum Laude distinctions. Upon graduation, he served as a Senior Auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick LLP and earned
his certified public accountant credentials.
He has been married for over 15 years to his wonderful wife, has two children, Gregory and Emma, and enjoys running and surfing.
