Education Couselor
Job Responsibilities:
1. Sell financial education, trading services and related products.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of live classes, products, and extended services being offered by Online Trading Academy
- Understand the general environment and terminology of the financial services, investing and trading industry.
2. Manage a pipeline of leads, workshop registrants and graduates for the purpose of generating enrollments in
free workshops (“Power Trading Workshops”), classes and other education products.
3. Conduct Continuing Education Plan meetings with Students and Graduates.
- Schedule & hold a trading plan meeting with each Student while in the center for class.
- Maintain follow-up calls on Trading Plans with Students based on agreed date.
4. Match student learning needs and goals with course content, training options and upcoming classes.
5. Build excellent ongoing relationships with students and provide continuous consultation and resources on learning objectives,
course offerings and Continuing Education.
- Review Potential Opportunities and initiate contact with customers.
- Document each call and follow-up task in SalesForce.
- Maintain a consistent sales pipeline of new opportunities with Grads and close sales for Continuing Education.
6. Provide ongoing customer service and support
- Ensure that commitments made to students are met and questions are answered.
7. Any other duties assigned by the Center Owner and Management.
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
1. At least 2 years experience selling in a consumer sales organization required, 3-5 years is preferred.
2. Preferably “one-call-close” sales experience. (A “one-call-close” is the ability to close a sale during the first customer contact.)
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
4. A relaxed manner and charm in working with prospects and students is required.
5. Fluent in the English language required.
6. Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) preferred.
7. Experience selling financial products or education is preferred.
8. High School diploma required; some college and college degree preferred.
