Education Director

Job Responsibilities

The Education Director is responsible for developing and inspiring a team of Education Counselors to drive the center’s revenues utilizing our proven sales models and marketing resources. In this sales management role, the ED will be responsible for:

  • Sales Team Development: recruit, coach, develop and motivate a team of high-performing Education Counselors (“ECs”)
  • Manage EC Activity: coordinate lead flow and follow-up, manage outbound contacts and prospect interactions, oversee and assist in consultative sales activities with prospects and continuous education with graduates
  • Measurement and Analysis: manage sales and marketing metrics and performance indicators to maximize all elements of the selling processes
  • Create Sales Opportunities: develop, manage and drive sales results at special events and develop local selling and promotional opportunities
  • Selling Strategies and Activities: Oversee pricing, product bundling, event scheduling and other selling activities
  • Leadership: lead the sales team to insure that commitments made to students are met. customer expectations are consistently exceeded and the center maintains a high degree of professionalism in all customer interactions
  • Presenting: in some centers the Education Director will conduct workshops for orienting prospective students and deliver continuous education presentations to graduates

The successful Education Director will be a proven sales professional, an exceptional motivator and team leader and will champion the Online Trading Academy sales model. We utilize a highly customized version of Salesforce.com to manage and track all customer interactions, and the Education Director must master this resource. Other duties may also be assigned by the center owner.

Experience, Education and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience selling in a consumer sales “one-call-close” environment
  • At least five years successful sales management experience
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills required
  • Exceptional leadership skills plus professional and motivational demeanor
  • Experience selling financial products, education and/or high-value intangibles is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and CRM; Salesforce.com proficiency is preferred
  • College degree preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work some early evenings as necessary to manage ECs and aid students
  • Some weekend work will be necessary for Saturday workshops and classes
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Light local travel for certain sponsored events
