Education Couselor

The Education Counselor, or EC, guides current and prospective students toward a successful experience at Online Trading Academy. He or she has the ability to listen closely and suggest an appropriate study plan and development path depending on the student’s interests, experience and aptitude. At the same time, you need to be a salesperson in order to convince students to make the tuition investment to advance their skills to the next level.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who can stay in contact with a pipeline of prospective students while paying personal attention to ongoing students through their periodic review sessions. We need someone who is excellent both on the telephone and in person, who can convey passion and inspire confidence in our education offerings and overcome any objection. Relevant qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years experience selling in a consumer sales organization; 3-5 years is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A relaxed but professional manner and ability to instill confidence in others.
  • Knowledge of financial products or education, ideally in a prior selling position.
